Prior to that he was Director of Advanced Development and a former core member of Apollo Diamond, a pioneer in the manufacturing of single crystal diamond.  He has been awarded over 21 patents; published over a dozen publications in Diamond Growth, including high volume Single Crystal CVD diamond for Industrial Applications.
